What Happens in the Class?
This Constitution Discussion Group is conducted in a seminar-style presentation, with instruction followed by open discussion and questions.
How much does it cost?
Solano CDG is a volunteer based organization - the courses and facilities are provided at no cost. However, there is a workbook that is purchased by the attendees - typically under $10 for the entire course.
How long?
We aim to teach the course in multiple 2-hour sessions, typically twice a month on a weekday evening.
What's the format?
The class is facilitated in person and opens with an in depth video, followed by an ample discussion and question period.
What's the facility like?
We meet in a modern facility with up to date audio, video and presentation tech - with large screen TVs and comfortable desk seating.
What happens each night?
We start with a meet and greet, with food & drinks provided to kick things off right, then we go into instruction - followed by group discussion.
What if I miss a session?
The video materials from the prior session can be accessed by participants online.

Advocacy is an essential pillar of our Education Movement. We work to inform and encourage others to take a stand for what they believe in. Together, we can ensure that everyone has access to civics education, that's why we offer these courses at no charge.
You'll have ample opportunity to meet like-minded residents of our county, have thoughtful discussions, see and hear how other people are coming to the table with various levels of education, insight, cultural takes, and find common bonds to unite as Americans.
